Emile Mausner is an American artist and writer whose work explores romantic underworlds and the flaming image. Mausner received her MFA in 2019 from Yale School of Art, where she was awarded the Carol Schlosberg Memorial Prize for Excellence in Painting. She studied painting at the University of Central Florida (BFA 2017) and critical humanities at New College of Florida (BA 2012). Her work has shown nationally, including print features in Burnaway, Cornelia, Strangeways, Superstars Only, WMN, and the XL Catlin Figurative Art Catalogue.
